As I arrive at the community centre where Orlando Bloom is rehearsing his first London play in a decade, he surprises me by suggesting we nip out to the cemetery over the road and do the interview there. And if I’m surprised, as I sit on a park bench next to Bloom and his beloved poodle, Mighty, think how some of the office workers and students enjoying their lunch on the grass around us must feel.
