It is almost a year since Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head by Taliban forces in Pakistan.

The teenager made a remarkable recovery after emergency surgery in the UK and went on to mark her 16th birthday with a live address at the UN headquarters.

The BBC's Mishal Husain spoke to Malala about the last 12 months and her plans for the future.
