ONCE tiny child stars, the Olsen twins are currently storming the fashion world and attending the biggest events.
The sisters, 31, now appear to have another quirk about them that we didn't know.
Fashion fan Ju Won Suh shared a video of the twins on Instagram last Monday after they presented their line The Row's Fall/Winter 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week.
The inseparable pair held and tapped each others hands before Mary-Kate whispered in Ashley's ear.
Quickly after the short exchange, the duo exited from their applauding audience.
Although they left early, each guest at the show received special crystals as parting gifts, according to W magazine.
During the final round of claps, the sisters held each other tight while also gripping their coffee cups.
Ashley stood behind Mary-Kate and looked around the room, before catching her sisters eyes and following her as they left.
One user left a comment on the video saying that the sisters hand squeezes were 'so cute.'
Another online comment suggested the video was relatable, as he thought it looked as though the pair had decided to 'ditch people and go binge eat.'
The stars of films such as New York Minute and When in Rome sported long dark layers, black trend coats and casual blonde, beach wave hairstyles.
In a now dated interview with E! News, a young Mary-Kate explains some of their mysterious hand exchanges.
She said: "We had this little thing, we love each other. We'd squeeze each other three times, then I'll squeeze her hand back like four times, like 'I love you too'."
An unofficial self-proclaimed 'inter-twin communication' expert on Tumblr, under the name of A.G, said that the twins are 'so weird and eccentric that this hand signal could be about Iran's power plant - we just don't know."
With such a heavy spotlight on the twins since childhood, it's no wonder we may have noticed some strange communications between the two.
As it stands, we will just have to figure out for ourselves exactly what the handshakes really mean.
