The streets have been dressed so they appear like New York City in a recreation of the days following the Apollo 11 spaceflight in 1969, with the traffic lights temporarily being replaced with bright yellow ones for authenticity.

Steven is being followed as director by James Mangold, who previously said in a statement: 'I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great film-makers.

'Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine.

'When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as himself.'

The film follows Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which was release in 2008 and made over $790million worldwide.

While the plot of the film is being kept top secret, the yet-to-be titled project is set for release in July 2022.

Inside The Magic reported earlier this year that the latest film will be set during the 1960s space race.

The Illuminerdi reports that Harrison will take on villain Mads Mikkelsen, a Nazi scientist enlisted into NASA by the United States government to work on the space agency’s moon landing initiative.
