Theresa May will set out her vision for Britain outside of the European Union on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister will make the biggest speech of her premiership next week on how she sees Britain’s future outside the EU on Tuesday Jan 17.

Mrs May’s speech is likely to come days before judges rule on whether Parliament should be given a vote on the timing of the start of Britain’s exit from the EU.

The Prime Minister will be under pressure to spell out a strategy ahead of triggering formal divorce negotiations, which she has promised by April.

Mrs May is understood to be ready to commit to pulling out of the single market if the European Union fails to make concessions on the free movement of its citizens, although they have been dismissed as speculation.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Brexit Secretary David Davis are contributing to the content of the address, which opposition parties hope will end months of secrecy over the Government's exit plans.

Mrs May has come under increasing pressure to disclose more of her plans after sticking to her message that  Brexit means Brexit for months.
